Euro Certificate of Deposit
- (ECD)The certificate is evidence of a deposit made with a bank, which will be redeemed on the maturity date with interest. The difference between a certificate of deposit and a normal deposit with a bank is that a certificate of deposit is an instrument which can be sold on in the money markets to other investors.
